The House of Representatives and the United Online Drivers Alliance held a meeting
The House of Representatives’ Public Aspirations Body (BAM) held a Public Hearing (RDPU) with the United Online Drivers Alliance (APOB) at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (September 10).
This meeting served as an official forum for online motorcycle taxi (ojol) drivers to voice their aspirations and concerns regarding their welfare.
The main issues raised by APOB ranged from a 10 percent reduction in app fees to the need for fair and transparent meter guarantees.
The RDPU was chaired by BAM DPR RI Chairman Ahmad Heryawan (Aher), accompanied by BAM DPR RI Deputy Chairman Adian Napitupulu and BAM DPR RI member Slamet Ariyandi.
“Today, BAM DPR is holding a RDPU with members of the APOB community. We declare this meeting open to the public,” Aher stated.
As of the time of publication, the RDPU agenda was still ongoing, listening to statements and demands from online driver representatives.
