STAYC’s leader, Sumin, revealed an experience that has been largely unknown to the public. The 25-year-old idol admitted to having considered leaving the group due to the mental pressure she experienced while leading STAYC.
Sumin made this admission in a video featuring her talking with Sieun and Yoon about the difficult times they had experienced during their careers.
In the conversation, Sumin described the promotional period for the song “Teddy Bear” in 2023 as one of the most difficult phases of her life. While she didn’t elaborate on the reasons, she admitted to hitting an emotional low.
“It was a really tough time for me,” Sumin revealed.
