ITZY Ryujin Apologizes

ITZY member Ryujin has finally spoken out after a video of her adjusting her clothes on stage went viral and sparked debate on social media. The South Korean idol apologized to fans and explained the reason behind her actions.

The controversy began when a video showed Ryujin pausing her performance mid-concert to adjust her outfit. The short clip then went viral and sparked a variety of reactions from netizens.

Some netizens considered the action inappropriate during a public performance. However, many others defended Ryujin, arguing that she was simply trying to adjust her outfit, which they considered uncomfortable.

In response to the controversy, Ryujin explained that the jumpsuit she was wearing felt too tight and shifted, causing pain. This forced her to adjust her outfit mid-performance.

“I’m truly sorry about that. But seriously, it was the jumpsuit’s fault! It felt like it was going to split me in half, so I had no other choice,” Ryujin said.

Despite her excuse, Ryujin admitted that her actions were still inappropriate because they occurred on stage. She also promised to be more careful to prevent a similar incident from happening again.

“I realize that putting my hand down my pants in public, especially on stage, was wrong. It was indeed my fault,” she continued.

The apology again drew mixed responses. Some fans felt Ryujin shouldn’t be blamed because she was simply trying to address a costume issue during her performance. On the other hand, others criticized JYP Entertainment for their perceived lack of concern for the comfort of their artists’ costumes and for not providing adequate protection against the harassing comments that began to emerge after the video went viral.
