Former Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana Released from Prison
Former Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana has been released from prison. He was granted parole after being detained at Sukamiskin Prison in Bandung for corruption in the Bandung Smart City project.
The Head of the Bandung City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Didi Ruswandi, posted a video on Instagram on Monday (September 15, 2025). In the video, titled “former sub-district heads reunion,” Didi posed for a photo with several people, including Yana Mulyana.
“As the ‘Former Wetland Sub-district Head’ and the Former Kanhay Sub-district Head, I’m also here…” Didi Ruswandi wrote.
Meanwhile, Yaman Nuryaman, Public Relations Officer for Sukamiskin Prison in Bandung, confirmed the news of Yana’s release.
“Mr. Yana Mulyana has been released on parole, and he will be brought before the Bandung Penitentiary on June 13, 2025,” Yaman said via text message.
