Archipelago Hotels presents a culinary program titled “60 Seconds to Tokyo,” the latest installment in the Archipelago Global Flavors Series, showcasing the distinctive flavors of Japanese street food. The program runs from July 1 to December 31, 2026, at 138 Archipelago hotels across Indonesia, including Harper Cikarang.

Through this program, hotel guests and the general public are invited to enjoy a variety of authentic Japanese dishes without having to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun. Various menus are available at hotel restaurants, room service, poolside dining, and even through online delivery.

The campaign, embodying the concept of a culinary journey to Tokyo, features two characters, Ren and Reina, as program icons. Ren, who is of Indonesian-Japanese descent, and Reina, a Japanese citizen living in Indonesia, represent a love for authentic Japanese street food.

Archipelago Hotels introduced this concept to reflect the growing interest in Japanese culture and cuisine in Indonesia. According to data from the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the number of Indonesian tourists to Japan from January to November 2025 reached 558,900, a 26.3 percent increase compared to the same period the previous year.

Harper Cikarang Operations Manager, Sigit Hendrawan, stated that this program aims to provide a unique Japanese dining experience for the Cikarang community and hotel guests.

“Through the 60 Seconds to Tokyo campaign, we want to present an authentic Japanese culinary experience for the Cikarang community and guests visiting Harper Cikarang. Each menu showcases the distinctive flavors of Tokyo, combined with the highest quality ingredients and Harper’s signature service standards,” said Sigit.

He hopes this program will be a choice for Japanese food lovers, business guests, and families seeking a unique dining experience in the Cikarang area.

Some of the featured menu items include Menchi Chicken Katsu, Chicken Katsu Sando, Takoyaki, Wagyu Burger, Hambagu, Yakimeshi Fried Rice, Grilled Chicken Breast with Koji Sauce, and Prawn Tempura Nori Taco.

For dessert, guests can sample Kuromitsu Matcha Puff and Japanese Cotton Cheese, while beverage options include Sakura Sunset, Shizuku Matcha Cooler, Shiso-Basil Berry, and Hojicha Latte.

The 60 Seconds to Tokyo program is a continuation of the Archipelago Global Flavors Series, following the 60 Seconds to Seoul series in the first half of 2026. Through a concept that changes every six months, Archipelago Hotels is committed to providing international culinary experiences that resonate with Indonesian tastes.
