Donald Trump Confronted by Protesters at Washington Restaurant
United States President Donald Trump is back in the spotlight after being confronted by a group of protesters while attending dinner at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday evening (September 10, 2025) local time.
Trump arrived with Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and several other officials at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab. However, his presence sparked protests inside the restaurant.
In a video circulating on social media, at least three activists stood up from their table and shouted loudly.
Chants of “Trump, you are not welcome here!” echoed, followed by chants of “Free D.C., Free Palestine, Trump is the Hitler of our time!” while waving Palestinian flags.
The protests briefly caused chaos. Some diners who supported Trump shouted back, “Yes, he is welcome!”
A smiling Trump signaled to his bodyguards to immediately remove the protesters from the area. “Come on, let’s go, get them outta here,” he said in the video.
Meanwhile, an activist from the group CODEPINK accused Trump of “terrorizing communities around the world, from Puerto Rico to Palestine to Venezuela.” He asserted that Trump was not welcome in D.C. or in Palestine, before being escorted out of the restaurant while shouting, “Shame on you all!”
The protest immediately went viral on social media, with hashtags supporting Palestine once again trending among netizens.
