BCA Shares Rise, Transactions Reach Rp816 Billion
Shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) again showed positive performance in trading on Monday (July 20, 2026). The banking issuer with the largest market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) strengthened amidst high investor transaction activity.
By mid-trading, BBCA shares were trading at Rp6,525 per share, up approximately 0.77 percent compared to the previous closing price. Since the opening session, BCA’s share price has fluctuated actively, ranging from Rp6,475 to Rp6,625 per share.
BCA’s trading activity was also observed to be very high. As of 1:38 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time), transaction volume had reached approximately 145.67 million shares with a transaction value exceeding Rp816.03 billion. These shares changed hands nearly 24,000 times, reflecting high investor interest in this banking issuer.
BCA’s dominance is also evident in its market capitalization of approximately Rp801.7 trillion, making it the company with the largest valuation in the banking sector and the issuer with the largest market capitalization on the IDX.
From a fundamental perspective, BBCA continues to record solid performance. The company posted earnings per share (EPS) of IDR 471, while the price-to-earnings ratio (PER) hovered around 14 times, which is considered to reflect a relatively healthy valuation for a large-cap bank stock.
This performance further strengthens BCA’s position as a favorite blue-chip stock among investors, both domestic and foreign. High trading liquidity and consistent fundamentals make BBCA a top choice for market players amidst market dynamics.
