Community Elements Hold Picnic to Demand Improvements to the 17+8 DPR RI

The student protest, titled “People’s National Picnic,” was held in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building in Senayan, Jakarta.
The posters, dominated by pink and green, indicated that the planned mass action would be a peaceful one, titled “People’s National Picnic.”
The protest aimed to demand that the government fulfill the 17+8 People’s Demands, which are due today.
The peaceful protest, attended by hundreds of students from Padjadjaran University and other community groups, was held to demand that the 17+8 demands of the Indonesian people be improved be met by the House of Representatives on September 5, 2025.
