Tak Semua Dalam Kendalimu
Ruang Senja, a duo from Bandung led by Eriza Triwiguna (vocals and mandolin) and Fajar Taufik Hidayat (guitar), returns to Indonesian music fans with their latest single, “Tak Semua Dalam Kendalimu” (Not All in Your Control). The song explores Stoicism, an ancient philosophy that emphasizes inner peace, self-control, and a focus on controllable things, rather than external factors.
Guitarist Fajar wrote this song while he was at his lowest point, and had fallen as low as he could. During this time, he recalled the philosophy of Stoicism, which inspired him to create this song. Fajar wants to convey to everyone who listens to this song that when things go out of control, it’s not a big deal, and that optimism is key to moving forward. This is the motivation Ruang Senja conveys to its audience.
In addition, Ruang Senja will also release several other singles that will form part of their second album with the label Pro-M. The songs on this album are more varied and have a strong character from each song which is more directed towards positive things and self-motivation.
