A work born from his personal experience as a father. Arda wrote the song to reflect on how many people still view fathers as “just breadwinners,” not emotionally present figures, or more often as “silent figures.”
The issue of fatherlessness resonates in this country. Being a father isn’t just about fulfilling material needs, but also being present, listening, and growing alongside children and family. The lyrics’ perspective makes listeners spontaneously respond, “Oh yes again, yes again.” The warmly arranged music with folk touches creates a magical work that reveals the beauty and complexity of a father’s love trapped within his masculine body.
