Wow! The Indonesian Attorney General’s Office Questions Blibli Boss Kusumo Martanto in a Chromebook Case

In the investigation into the alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) between 2019 and 2022, prosecutors questioned four new witnesses.

The summons was carried out by investigators from the Junior Attorney General’s Investigation Directorate for Special Crimes (JAM PIDSUS).

Two witnesses are still directors at Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies.

The first is the President Director of PT Global Digital Niaga, the company that owns Blibli and Tiketcom. KM is identified as Kusumo Martanto. The second witness is ANW, Director of PT Tritunggal Jaya Komputindo.

The other two witnesses are the Sales Manager of PT Aneka Sakti Bakti (ASABA), identified as AK, and the other witness, identified as LSL.

The Attorney General’s Office stated that Blibli is part of the Djarum business group, which has been a public company since 2022.

“It operates with an omnichannel business model, integrating online (e-commerce) and offline (physical store) services for various types of consumers,” the Attorney General’s Office stated.

According to Anang Supriatna, Head of the Attorney General’s Office’s Legal Information Center, the four witnesses were questioned in connection with the alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Technology (Kemendikbudritek) in the 2019-2022 Education Digitalization Program, involving suspect MUL.

“The witness examination was conducted to strengthen the evidence and complete the case file,” Anang concluded.
