Netanyahu Replica Head Kicked Away by Activists in Front of UN Office
A shocking theatrical performance took place in front of the United Nations (UN) headquarters in New York on September 7, 2025. International activists and artists staged a soccer game using a replica of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s head as a ball.
This performance was spearheaded by the art collective INDECLINE, along with Spanish artist Eugenio Merino, to condemn alleged genocide and human rights violations in Gaza.
A video that went viral on social media showed activists and artists kicking the replica head directly in front of the UN building. The theatrical performance, dubbed “Freedom Kick,” has become a symbol of resistance against Israeli military policies in Palestine.
The organizers stated that the replica Netanyahu’s head would later be donated to the Palestinian Genocide Museum as a gesture of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The performance coincided with the start of the 80th UN General Assembly and received widespread international media coverage. Many viewed this incident as a harsh criticism of the international community, which they considered slow to stop the bloody conflict in Gaza.
The full video of the incident has also circulated widely on various platforms, including a YouTube video uploaded by the Storyful News channel.
