The Finance Minister’s House Was Reportedly Visited by a Mob
Not only did they target the homes of House of Representatives members Ahmad Sahroni, Eko Patrio, and Uya Kuya, but the mob also looted a house strongly suspected of belonging to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani in the early hours of Sunday (August 31, 2025).
This news went viral on social media platform X. The video shows Sri Mulyani’s house in the Bintaro area being invaded by a mob.
“The condition of Sri Mulyani’s house on Jalan Mandau Sector 3, the mob was seen entering Sri Mulyani’s house,” the video narrates.
The mob looted a number of items, including electronics and jewelry, as they took them home.
Meanwhile, a post on social media by X user @blackshark7890 states that the mob forced its way into Sri Mulyani’s house at approximately 1:40 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
“The home of Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati @smindrawati in the Mandar area, Bintaro Sector 3A, South Jakarta, was looted by residents in the early hours of Sunday, August 31, 2025, at around 1:40 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. Several people reportedly forced their way in and looted items inside,” the account caption read.
As of the publication of this article, there has been no official statement regarding the looting at Finance Minister Sri Mulyani’s home.
