LIA “AFI” returns to her roots
Amalia Soraya, better known as LIA AFI, a pop singer from Bandung who rose to fame after appearing on Indosiar’s Akademi Fantasi Session 2, is back in the music industry!
LIA, who has toured with her AFI family throughout Indonesia and starred in numerous TV movies, soap operas, and feature films, hasn’t forgotten her roots as a singer, leading to the independent release of her debut album “TERBAIK” (2009) and the single “YA, ITU KAMU” (2010).
From 2013 to 2018, Lia lived and worked in China, leading the band THE VIBE, along with three other Indonesian musicians, as a regular band at one of the most popular pubs in Guangzhou at the time.
The song “Anak Kecil,” written by Aditya Pratama, was inspired by his child in particular and is dedicated to all children, the embodiment of their parents’ love. This mid-beat song, with its cheerful, child-like feel and simple lyrics, is hopefully relatable and enjoyable for all ages.
